if you follow me on facebook ... twitter or youtube you know me & my hair are forever in a battle .... just depends on the day who wins lol .... with that being said I am really thinking about cutting off all my hair .... I mean bald .... I just keep seeing this bald head dyed brown ,,,, like a chestnut brown .... sound sexy right ... I know lol ..... beau just shaked his head .... to do it or not .... my hair has grow so much over this year it is crazy but my scissor are calling my name .... do you ladies ever get the want to cut .... have you ever thought about it or is big hair for you .... I sometimes want a big ole afro but not as much as i want a bald head .... who knows I guess we will all see .... so tell me have you ever thought of cutting all your hair off .... or is big/long hair for you =)

so tomorrow is picture day at school ..... so tonight we did baby girls hair so she can be ready ..... I think she is ready to whip her hair lol ..... & oh yes she does love her hair ..... she looks tooooooo cute =) ...... as most of you know baby girl loves for her hair to smell good ..... so this time we wash & use my koils by nature shealoe leave in conditioner .... then twisted with her new favorite mango shea butter also by koils by nature .... =) I wish I had curlers .... but it still looks cute .... =)

Vinegar and Herbs Rinse

The herbs in this hair and scalp rinse have antifungal and soothing properties. The vinegar helps restore the hair's correct pH. Heat the vinegar just to boiling. Pour over herbal blend and steep for 10 minutes. Strain, and bottle. Use about 1/4 cup of herb vinegar diluted in 2 cups of warm water as a rinse to soften hair and add shine.

2 cups apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) of sage, rosemary, or thyme (or any combination)

This was sent as an email to me & I wanted to share it with all of you.

This is a parent and grandparent MUST read!! Family Friends too!

Yesterday, my youngest daughter, Halle who is just 4 years old,

was rushed to the ER by her father for being severely lethargic

and incoherent in her classroom. He was called to her school

by the school secretary who said that she was

'VERY VERY SICK'!

He told me that when he arrived at her classroom, Halle was

barely sitting in the chair. She couldn't hold her own head up

and when he looked into her eyes, she couldn't focus them.

He immediately scooped her up and rushed her to the closest

ER, and then called me. When he got there, they ran blood test

after blood test and did x-rays, every test imaginable. Her white

blood cell count was normal, nothing was out of the ordinary.

When I arrived at the ER, the doctor there told us that he had

done everything that he could do so he was transferring her to

Saint Francis Hospital for further tests.

Right as we were leaving in the ambulance, her teacher arrived

at the ER and told us that after questioning Halle 's classmates,

She had found out that our little girl had

licked liquid hand sanitizer off of her hands !!!

Hand sanitizer, of all things. But it makes sense. These days they

have all kinds of different scents and flavors and when you have

a curious child, they are going to put all kinds of things into their mouths.

When we arrived at the Saint Francis' Hospital ER, we told the ER

Doctor there to check her blood alcohol level, and yes we did get

weird looks, but they did it.

The results showed her

blood alcohol level was 85%

-- six hours after we first took her.. There's no telling what it would have

been if we would have requested it at the first ER. Since then, her school

and a few surrounding schools have taken the liquid hand sanitizers

out of all the lower grade classes, but what's to stop middle and high

schoolers from ingesting this stuff?

After doing research on the Internet, we found out that it only takes about

3 squirts of the stuff ingested to be fatal to a toddler.

For her blood alcohol level to be so high, it would be like someone her

size drinking120 proof liquor.

So PLEASE PLEASE don't disregard this because we don't ever

want another family to go through what ours has gone through..

Please send this to everyone you know that have children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews or cousins..

It doesn't matter what age. This could affect anyone of them ...

Setting Lotion

So this weekend I did my babies hair. I had ran out of shampoo & conditioner and told her I had to go to the store to get some more. She said mommy we have some. She went to the closet and got these small bottles of shampoo & setting lotion that had came with a perm kit that i had brought and use about a tear ago before my BC again. So I used the shampoo and wash her hair and decided to use the setting lotion to see what it would do well it made her curls POP. when I say POP I mean they were POPPING lol. who would have thought surely not me so if you ladies have any setting lotion in the back of the closet pull it out and try it out. you may be surprise how a old product that you thought was foe permed hair really make your natural hair POP.

ACV Rinse

Hello all
I just wanted to give my review of the ACV rinse. I used it because my hair was very itchy. well my hair was so itchy that I decided to take the bottle straight to my head. Bad idea lol the smell almosted killed me lol and it made my hair straight as if I blow dryed it. lol It was like I had a natural perm lol. so I have been working it with conditioner to get my curl pattern back. But i have no more itchiness lol. So next time I think I will do a 50/50 or 25/75 mix lol

Okay so I just wanted to do this post because I am sick of people asking me What are you? I'm black, I'm African American - why is this not an acceptable answer. Just because I have "curly" hair does not make me not black. What answer would you give to this question? Has this happen to you if so please let me know.

I am amazed with so many people celebrating their natural hair that this is still happens. I am told all the time oh you have that "good Hair" what is good hair? and why do i have it? lol I would love to be able to have have a big oh afro. lol I wish we as people would not judge each other by things as silly as hair type.

So I decided to start this blog as a way to be able to answer some question I have been getting about the flexible headbands. First let me say they were made to be unbreakable that does mean use all your strength to test them out. But you get my point. Second they were made for people who wear regular headbands that end up giving them a headache. With these headbands you can flex them and make them fix the way you want them to fit. IE custom to you lol.

I am also going to make a video to show you what I mean about it being flexible.
